The TYPHON™ 4X4 MEGA RTR is DESIGNED FAST, DESIGNED TOUGH - built for exciting bashing speeds and extreme, all-terrain durability. New features that enhance its unstoppable performance include a stronger chassis and retained hinge pin plates; steering with more clearance for stones; a castellated slipper pad and sliding gear mesh; and rubber-shielded bearings throughout.
It also has the ingenious modular design perfected by ARRMA® engineers for easy component access and maintenance. The power module, with improved dirt management, consists of a MEGA 550 motor for rock-jumping speed, plus motor plate, slipper clutch assembly and gear cover. The power module can be detached from the chassis as a complete unit by removing just one screw. With the power module removed, the slipper clutch can be reached easily for adjustments by taking out three screws that attach the gear cover. The gear ratio can be finely tuned as the power module now uses a sliding motor mesh design.
A two-piece molding screwed to the Speed Buggy's chassis serves as its electronics module, containing a waterproof receiver box, servo mount and ESC tray. The SLR300 receiver mounts inside the receiver box for protection from dirt and moisture. The ultra-compact ESC is screwed to the top of the module, allowing quick access to the on/off switch, while the servo mounts to the side. All three components can be removed together, quickly and easily.
The differential module houses each differential unit in an innovative yoke design. Only eight screws need to be removed to release the front and rear yokes. The power module can then be detached, allowing you to pivot the gearbox cases for differential access. The TYPHON™ 4X4 MEGA RTR comes brushless-ready with 37T 1.35mod diffs with silicone O-rings. The large gears can withstand huge torque, and internal metal gears have been chosen for reliability during extreme bashing.
Its full-time 4WD transmission uses strong front, rear, and centerline telescopic driveshafts that can't be lost during heavy impacts, unlike dogbones. A simple, dependable, responsive steering assembly complements the ultra-reliable drive system and features a servo horn with built-in servo saver.
The self-bleeding, oil-filled shocks, now with silicone O-rings, use a tried and tested, coil-over design for simple maintenance and amazing handling. Their innovative rod-end has a moulded-in spring perch for extra toughness. High chassis sides and a close-fitting buggy body limit the amount of dirt and debris that can get into the chassis tub. Front and rear bumpers offer defence against impacts.
Tough, multi-spoke wheels with vented dBoots® 2-HO™ tyres give the 1/8 scale TYPHON™ 4X4 MEGA RTR Speed Buggy effective traction for bashing on almost any terrain. Multiple battery types can be used with the hook-and-loop mounting, from 6-cell NiMH packs to a 2S block pack. This version comes with a Dynamite® 3300 mAh 8.4V 7-cell Speedpack® 2 Hump NiMH battery that provides 35% more run time compared to the 2400mAh pack of its predecessor.

At the heart of the Enduro is our revolutionary Stealth® X gearbox. Although the exterior appears to have a conventional 3-gear transmission look, the inside is far from conventional. The Stealth® X features the ability to adjust the rear drive ratio independently from the front drive across three levels: stock overdrives the front end 5.7%, option 1 provides a one-to-one drive ratio front-to-rear, and option 2 overdrives the front end 11.83%.
Feeding the power to the tires are 3-piece telescopic driveshafts with an extruded aluminum center section, universal front drive axles, and hardened steel ring and pinion gears. With the Enduro drivetrain, delivering useful power will not be an issue.
We relocated the steering link assembly from the conventional location to behind the axle (BTA). This feature greatly improves approach angle and front-end clearance, making rough terrain much easier to handle.

the wait, being feature packed and optimised for the serious racer. As the name
suggests the system offers 4 functions, and of course includes Futaba’s renowned
telemetry system, which is a huge benefit for practice and whilst racing, (where allowed).
Both S-FHSS and T-FHSS transmission modes are included, and response
speed is a staggering 4.4ms, giving instantaneous response to the controls. Full

Telemetry system
The T4GRS transmitter has adopted the newly developed bidirectional
communication system "T-FHSS"
2.4GHzSS (Spread Spectrum) radio communication system
Frequency channel setting is unnecessary: Channel shifting takes place within the 2.4GHz
band automatically. This system minimises the interference from other 2.4GHz systems.
Model memory for 40 models
Model names can use up to 10 letters, numbers, and symbols, so that logical names may be
used. A model memory with different setups can be created by using the model copy function.
Menu Selection
The setup screens are called from menu screens. The menu screen can be selected from among
2 levels (LEVEL1/LEVEL2).
Brake mixing for large cars (BRAKE)
Brake mixing of the front and rear sticks of 1/5GP and other large cars can be adjusted
independently.
4WS mixing for crawlers and other 4WS type (4WS)
This function can be used with crawlers and other 4WS type vehicles.
Dual ESCs mixing for crawlers cars (DUAL ESC)
ESC at the front and rear are controlled independently.
Gyro mixing (GYRO MIX)
The sensitivity of Futaba car rate gyros can be adjusted from the T4GRS.
CPS-1 mixing (CPS MIX)
LED lighting and flashing control using our CPS-1 channel power switch can be
matched to steering and throttle operation by switch only.
Anti-skid braking system (TH A.B.S)
This function applies the brakes so that the tires of gasoline engine cars, etc. do not
lose their grip on the road even when braking at corners.
Throttle acceleration (ACCEL)
Gasoline engine cars have a time lag before the clutch and brakes become effective.
The throttle acceleration function reduces this time lag.
Throttle speed (SPEED)
Sudden stick operation on a slippery road surface will only cause the tires to spin
and the model to not accelerate smoothly. By setting the throttle speed function,
operation can be performed smoothly and easily. It also suppresses battery consumption.
Steering speed (SPEED)
When you sense that the steering servo is too fast, etc., the servo operating speed
(direction that suppresses the maximum speed) can be adjusted.
Racing timer (TIMER)
The lap timer can record 100 lap times and total time. The timer can also be started
automatically by stick operation. The race time and audible alarm can be set.
Re-/fueling time are indicated by an audible alarm. An up timer is also provided.
Digital trim
The current trim position is displayed on the LCD screen. The operating amount of 1
step can also be adjusted.
Trim operation has no effect on the maximum travel of the steering and throttle servos.
Function select switch / dial function (TRIM DIAL)
This function assigns functions to 2 switches and dials (digital trim, digital dial). The
step amount and operating direction can also be adjusted. Trim positioning at each
model call is unnecessary because all the dials are digital.
ESC-Link function (MC-LINK)
This is a dedicated function which allows setting of the contents of the Link software
which makes possible Futaba speed controller (ESC), MC950CR, MC850C, MC851C,
MC602C, MC402CR, etc. variable frequency and other data changes by T4GRS.
Tension adjustment function
The tension of the steering stick & throttle stick springs can be adjusted from the inside.
Adjustable Throttle Stick Travel (Mechanical ATL Adjustment)
Make this adjustment when you want to decrease the total travel of the forward
(up) side or brake (down) side of the throttle stick.

After an intense year of testing and racing, Mugen Seiki is excited to announce information about the MTC1 performance conversion kit.
All the new parts were used at the Reedy Race of Champions EU, where all 3 prototypes MTC1’s ended up in top 10 of the modified class. After an intense year of testing and racing, Mugen Seiki is excited to announce information about the MTC1 performance conversion kit. All the new parts were used at the Reedy Race of Champions EU, where all 3 prototypes MTC1’s ended up in top 10 of the modified class. The prototype MTC1 was able to log some of the fastest lap times of the entire event!
Testing with the prototype MTC1 on asphalt has also shown great results. Most testing was been done by pro drivers, but we also did testing with hobby customers and the testing displayed great results for drivers of all levels.
The kit includes following parts:
1. New upper deck with pitch control rod. Mugen Seiki’s new pitch control rod system prevents the chassis from bending over the maximum length, as it is fixed from the motor mount to the upper deck. Furthermore the flex of the chassis is not affected from the rod. It improves the acceleration significantly especially on carpet or high grip conditions.
2. New C-Hub front suspension. After intense testing we found out that the C-Hub suspension system, in combination with a different wheel axle position, is much easier to drive then the original design.
3. New shock/differential O-Rings: The new softer O-Rings providing less friction and both shocks and differential are working more smooth. This makes the car easier to drive especially on bumpy tracks or tracks with curbs or dots.
4. New differential gears. The new material of differential gears provides increased durability and smoother operation. This will also allow you to do more running between rebuilds.
5. Aluminium spool outdrives. The aluminium outdrives increase the durability of the outdrives. Simply change the composite blades from time to time for increased durability. All in all, the MTC1 performance kit improves the car durability and performance significantly, and makes the MTC1 highly competitive in the electric touring car class for drivers of all levels.
